"Back In Motion ~ A Night Of Golden Memories"

CHARITY EVENT TO BREAK THE SILENCE OF OVARIAN CANCER

A fun-filled evening of networking, music, fine food, prizes and nostalgia will take place on April 1, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. – 10 P.M. at the Inn at New Hyde Park. The fundraising event is sponsored by Pro-fusion, home of the Long Island Breakfast Club, a career advocacy organization for mature professionals.

Proceeds will benefit the Center for Hope-Bereavement Services at Schneider Children’s Hospital, and the Rainbow Chimes Early Education Center. According to President & Founder of Long Island Breakfast Club, Valentina Janek, “Not only will this event raise money for two worthwhile agencies; it will honor my dear friend JoAnn Fiorentino-Lucas, the former Delegate Director of the Rainbow Chimes Early Education Center. Importantly, it will also promote awareness of the silent killer, ovarian cancer, which suddenly took her life last year.”

This fundraising event will also honor two significant individuals who contribute to important community work on Long Island: Felice Cantatore, General Manager of The Long Island Press, and Gerard Simonelli, Senior Certified Financial Planner, ARS Financial Services and President of BNI (Business Networking International).

Enjoy and celebrate life with music by The Cavaliers headed by Leo Lucas, lead singer and husband of the late JoAnn Fiorentino-Lucas. The evening, with a theme of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, will also feature a reception, dancing, Silent and Chinese Auctions, exhibits by local merchants, and a chance for neighbors, business professionals and community leaders to meet. Educational packets about the warning signs of ovarian cancer will be distributed.

Long Island residents are invited to participate in a number of ways, including corporate sponsorships, journal ads, prize donations, auction donations and individual ticket sales at $75 per person. Don’t miss the chance to contribute to this worthwhile charity event while enjoying a fabulous evening of entertainment and culinary delights.
