Help us win $5,000 and reduce plastic bag pollution.

RNN TV is hosting an “I on the Environment” contest, and CCE has made it to the final round. Now it’s up to you! Visit RNN’s website and vote for CCE as your favorite environmental campaign.

Plastic pollution is an ever-growing problem. We’re suffering under five decades worth of plastic production – material that never breaks down. The use of plastic bags endangers and kills fish and wildlife and is completely unnecessary. A 2005 study found that almost 200 species of marine life are adversely affected by plastic bag pollution.

Tens of thousands of whales, birds, seals, and turtles are killed annually by plastic bags.

CCE recently launched our BYOB ("Bring Your Own Bag") campaign. The campaign is featured on RNN’s “I on the Environment." The campaign urges members of the public to use reusable shopping bags instead of harmful disposable plastic bags. This will prevent thousands of plastic bags from polluting our environment - bags that would exist forever.
