We Certainly Hope So!
New York's Governor, David Paterson, is expected to make an announcement today vis-a-vis New York's position on the proposed Liquid Natural Gas facility (Broadwater) in Long Island Sound.
In the words of of a source close to Paterson, "The governor believes we must protect Long Island Sound while also responsibly and aggressively planning to meet our energy demands. He doesn't accept the premise that you have to sacrifice one to achieve the other."
