Whole Foods To Team Up With Citizens Campaign For The Environment

Recycling. Sustainability. Clean water. And a great big, juicy porterhouse. Now that's what we're talking about!

On Saturday, May 30, our good friends at Citizens Campaign for the Environment will team up with Whole Foods at the Whole Foods Market in Jericho for an afternoon of grilling, chilling, and milling about for the benefit of CCE.

Now, we're not exactly sure how a grocery chain known for its organic selections and vegetarian/vegan options can meld with the former chef of Maxwell & Dunne's Natural Steakhouse (that's pure beef, no bull. It only ate organic hay. We promise), but if any group could put this event together for a fantastic cause, its Citizens Campaign for the Environment.

One thing's certain -- you won't see Molly the runaway cow anywhere near the grill at Whole Foods!

Support CCE, Attend Whole Foods Market's “Good Will from the Grill”

Come down for some great grillin’ by celebrity Chef Chris Palmer, former Executive Chef of Maxwell and Dunne’s Natural Steakhouse. On May 30, The Jericho Whole Foods Market store will be holding a “Good Will from the Grill” outdoor BBQ event. The event will feature good food, good folks, and good will. All profits will be donated to Citizens Campaign for the Environment.

CCE staff will be on hand as well!
