What We Have To Say At The Blog May Not Matter Much. . .

What You Have To Say At The Polls May Make All The Difference In The World!

Read, Million Dollar Garbage, only at The Community Alliance blog.

Today, Tuesday, November 3, VOTE!

Tell them you're not taking their garbage anymore...

Polls are open in New York from 6 A.M. until 9 P.M.

  1. Actually, I think what gets said here does matter - taking nothing away from the importance of voting. At the very least, it's good to know that there are like-minded people who are just as upset about what is going on around here as I am. I would also guess that at least some number of our entrenched local leadership actually monitor what is said here, which is also important. It's bad enough that some of these morons gets elected time and time again; at the very least they should know that there are people who don't actually buy into their crap.

  2. Yes, many of our public officials -- both Democrats and Republicans -- are reading The Community Alliance blog, some avidly. There are a few who, occasionally, will even post (much to the chagrin of their colleagues, to be sure).

We'd like to believe we do make a difference, at least inasmuch as we bring issues to the fore and create a venue for discussion and debate.

Every once in a while, we do see actual results (perhaps a Victorian streetlamp, or two ;-), or at least a step in the right direction.

And today, Election Day, if we've motivated just one person to vote, we will consider this community endeavor a success.

Thank you for your kind words, and please, keep on questioning authority!

  3. kate and i are counting on all you dumb sheep to show up and once again believe our tall tales.if you dont vote for us, ill have my friends in sanitary district 7 dump you in the landfills.
