The best minds New York could muster met in January at a Property Tax Conference, designed as a think tank to formulate tangible, practical solutions to New York's property tax crisis.

Now, if we could only get those small, closed minds in Albany to take a serious look at some of the panel's findings, maybe New Yorkers can start to enjoy real property tax relief sometime before the end of the decade -- or the last of us has moved to the Carolinas, whichever comes first.
